The Cow Cradle is a one piece galvanised steel suspension frame complete with lifting eyes that ensure there is the minimum of side pressure applied when the downer cow is suspended.
The body sling is made from high quality flexible, washable, rot proof, UV stabilised, anti-fungus treated material.
The combination of the suspension frame and the body sling
attached with the animal correctly secured ensures that there
is no risk of the animal twisting or turning and minimises
further injury or bruising.
The leg straps and spancel (red) provide essential support to
prevent legs splaying outwards and to maintain the correct
stance when lowering the animal onto its feet, which can be
done gradually at no extra discomfort to the animal.
The body, leg and spancel straps are fully adjustable to accomodate different size animals.
With the animal correctly suspended inspection and limb exercise can be carried out with ease.
